Recommended Adult Dosing
Dosage forms: CAP: 50 mg/300 mg/40 mg/30 mg
Tension headache, refractory

- Max: 6 caps/day; Info: use lowest effective dose, shortest effective tx duration; do not exceed 300 mg/day butalbital, 1 g/4h and 4 g/day acetaminophen, 360 mg/day codeine from all sources; consider low start dose, titrate slowly in pts 65 yo and older; taper total daily dose by no more than 10-25% q2-4wk to D/C if long-term use
