Recommended Adult Dosing
Dosage forms: TAB: 3.125 mg, 6.25 mg, 12.5 mg, 25 mg
Hypertension
- [6.25-25 mg PO bid]
- Start: 6.25 mg PO bid, may incr. q1-2wk to 12.5 mg PO bid, then 25 mg PO bid; Max: 50 mg/day; Info: give w/ food; taper dose over 1-2wk to D/C
Heart failure

- Start: 3.125 mg PO bid, may incr. q2wk to 6.25 mg PO bid, then 12.5 mg PO bid, then 25 mg PO bid; Max: 50 mg/day; 100 mg/day if >85 kg; Info: minimize fluid retention prior to tx; give w/ food; taper dose over 1-2wk to D/C
Left ventricular Dysfunction
