Recommended Adult Dosing

Dosage forms:  TAB: 5 mg/160 mg, 5 mg/320 mg, 10 mg/160 mg, 10 mg/320 mg

HTN

Dose: 1 tab PO qd; Start: 5 mg/160 mg PO qd, may incr. dose after 1-2wk; Max: 10 mg/320 mg/day; Info: avoid initial tx in elderly pts as lower amlodipine doses not possible w/ fixed-dose combo
[replacement or add-on tx]
Dose: 1 tab PO qd; Start: same dose of each component if replacement tx or start combo at lower dose of either component if add-on tx; may incr. dose after 3-4wk; Max: 10 mg/320 mg/day

CrCl >30: no adjustment; CrCl <30: not defined
HD/PD: not defined

Hepatic dosing

hepatic impairment: avoid use as initial tx; Info: lower amlodipine doses not possible w/ fixed-dose combo
