Recommended Adult Dosing
Dosage forms: CAP: 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg
Anorexia/weight loss, AIDS-assoc.

- Start: 2.5 mg PO bid, may incr. by 2.5 mg/day gradually; Max: 20 mg/day; Info: give 1h before lunch and dinner; decr. to 2.5 mg PO qpm or qhs if start dose poorly tolerated; consider starting 2.5 mg PO qpm or qhs in elderly pts; taper dose gradually to D/C if prolonged, high-dose use
Chemo-related nausea/vomiting, refractory
