Recommended Adult Dosing

Dosage forms:  TAB: 2 mg, 4 mg, 8 mg, 16 mg, 32 mg

Corticosteroid-responsive conditions

[4-48 mg/day PO divided qd-qid]

Alt: 24 mg PO on day 1, then decr. by 4 mg/day x5 days per dose pack instructions; Info: dose, frequency varies by condition; dose pack = 4 mg tabs x21; give w/ food; taper dose gradually to D/C if high-dose or long-term use

Asthma, acute
