Recommended Adult Dosing

Dosage forms:  CAP: 0.6 mg

Gout prophylaxis

[0.6 mg PO qd-bid]

Max: 1.2 mg/day; Info: wait 12h after acute gout flare tx before resuming prophylaxis

Renal dosing

CrCl <30: start 0.3 mg qd, incr. dose only if close monitoring; Info: contraindicated in pts w/ both renal and hepatic impairment

HD: 0.3 mg 2x/wk; no supplement after dialysis; PD: not defined; Info: contraindicated in pts w/ both renal and hepatic impairment
